With its attention to everyday objects and spaces, this work can be situated in the tradition of the experimental diary film. Time is marked through unique and ephemeral moments of the filmmaker’s family life as well as the easily overlooked permutations of environmental conditions. Using moving image as collage material, this work constructs not only a micro-portrait of the life of its maker, but also an alternative means to consider the mercurial and fragmentary experience of consciousness itself.
