This sculpture is an exploration of avant-garde composer Alexander Scriabin's theories of color, sound and composition.  I investigate his conceptual framework of synesthesia (when one sense is experienced through another).  Reflecting on the subjectivity of all sense perception, I created a series of tinted plaster casts and asked three separate musicians with synesthesia to create solo musical scores to understand what this visual composition might sound like under radically different modes of sound production.
